Susan is a treasure. I contacted Susan in 2018 as I was planning to get two Australian Shepards. Susan met with me and accompanied me to PetSmart to get everything a new dog parent would need. Susan even came to my home to inspect my home and advise where the crates should be placed. Sadly one puppy died due to unknown causes the night before I was to bring them home....this was after I had already provided a non refundable deposit for training. Susan informed me my deposit was good for life. Three years later when I got the courage to bring a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy home Susan was right there to help me. My Zuma is a big girl at 7.5 months and 85lbs but is such a sweet dog. After only three months I can leave Zuma in my home out of the crate and know the house will still be in one piece. This is large part to Susan's care and guidance. Susan visited my home on a weekly basis for nearly three months and would take Zuma on Saturdays. I was shocked how good Zuma behaved when Susan advanced our training by taking Zuma to the local DIY hardware store to receive commands while distracted. Even when Zuma needed some vet care Susan was there with advice and to comfort a new dog parent. Susan truly is a

Susan was an amazing life raft! I had to unexpectedly return to wrk when covid started to dip back in sept. She took on my 8 week puppy to board and train. Lily is now 4 months and she is an amazing little dog! I had no idea that pups that young could be trained. Lily can sit, stay, lay down, stay, walk on a leash, as well as doing some tricks like shake, weave in and out of my legs, play seek and find, she is potty trained, dosent jump, or bite.
Susan is a delight and will love and train your dog like you would!

Susan has been a God sent! After being left high and dry by our previous trainer, we found ourselves having a very hard time finding someone to train our dog Luna to be a type 1 alert dog for my daughter. Luckily we found Susan. Not only did she train our dog to sniff out low blood sugar, but Luna now alerts whoever is nearby and even opens the refrigerator and gets my daughter a juice box! Now I can sleep well knowing Luna will take care of my daughter when she's dorming!

We had a wonderful experience working with Susan. From the very beginning she explained the process of puppy training and held our hand as we progressed through the stages. Our puppy, Benny, loved her and working with her. Dog training is as much owner training as training the dog. She demonstrated patience working with us and adjusted her schedule to fit our needs. Susan is the most loving and caring dog trainer that we've met. She board-trained our Rina, a Bernedoodle, since she was 12 weeks old. During that time, Susan, with her gentle techniques, treats, and clicker training, but especially, her love for dogs, created a special bonding between them. Susan used to keep Rina during the week, and then she'd dropped her off at our house on Fridays. At home, she showed us what and how she was training Rina, and gave us some short lessons and advice, so that training was consistent between both environments. Susan was always flexible with our schedule too, which was very important for us. Rina was always very happy and excited to see Susan when I used to drop her off on Mondays. We highly recommend Susan as the trainer for your dog!

We highly recommend Susan. She did wonders with our German Shepherd puppy, Jasper. We had Susan board our puppy and train him. It was an investment, but well worth it, as it was important to us to establish a good foundation for our new puppy. Susan was instrumental in creating this foundation. She takes a holistic view to training not just the dog, but also educating and training the whole family. She worked to to ensure that we gained a solid understanding of our dog's behavior, so that we can respond and act accordingly. She was great in engaging our 6 year old son, teaching him and encouraging him so that he could understand the dog, and how to approach him, which was important for safety and their relationship. Beyond her knowledge of dog training and techniques, which are excellent, Susan is a great energy - very enthusiastic, thoughtful and kind.
